Geranium 'Anne Thomson' is a more compact version of 'Ann Folkard' so it looks more floriferous. The RHS Trials in 2005 meant it won an Award of Garden Merit. I believe an Alan Bremner introduction from his garden in the Orkney Islands. Foliage emerges yellow-green and darkens as it matures however this seems to vary for place to place and year.

Anne Thomson is a hybrid of G. psilostemon and G. procurrens. The latter rarely being commercially available. Due to its former parent though, it should be noted that Anne Thomson is somewhat more tender than other Geraniums, so some form of protection during periods of cold, wet weather, may be wise to prevent the loss of the plant.
